Greetings from Chicago's O'hare International Airport. I'm on my way Back East to see how Larry and crew do things in the Berkshires. I expect to eat a lot of seafood and enjoy, you know, actual moisture in the air. I've made some friends here, so I'm going to visit now, but I may check in periodically.

She Danced with Robert E. Lee
Grandpa's great-aunt, Kitty Anderson, born April 8, 1842, died in 1928. I suppose her name was Katherine, and sometimes when I look at the photo I have of her, I see in her features pieces of both Morgan and I, and our curiosity and determination. This image is from scratch in Photoshop with a 24 pixel brush, no jitter, 14% scatter, on my Wacom Intuos digital tablet. It took about 15 minutes and is 5" x 6".
Incidentally, in the Ziploc bag I store the photo in (between sheets of acid-free paper) I also found an envelope with two 140-year-old grocery receipts inside. Fascinating.
