Weekend in the Desert

To see lots more pictures of rocks (and wild horses, and caves and coyote tracks and a disheveled outhouse), click here.

If you drive an electic car and frequently congratulate yourself that your vehicle doesn't give off harmful emissions, Jeff would like to point out that it actually does- in his backyard.

That's about all you can do when they're like that. (After a while it gets painful.) Apparently my casserole didn't kill him.

The region we were tooling around in is known for its wild horses. You can walk up to a domestic horse and ask him anything you'd like. I wouldn't recommend walking up to these. They probably wouldn't let you, anyway. There are no people for miles and miles. And miles. And some more miles.

I want to live there, too.

you could live out there, and i would fly my private helicopter out to visit you. eric could be my copilot. first i need to get a helicopter...

how far out there do you have to drive to see these ponies? is it hard to find them?

and yes, the rolling of the eyes gets tiresome after a while. but chad is still in training. someday i'll have him house broken.
