Carnegie Deli

I had a $17 Reuben sandwich at the Carnegie that wasn't so much a sandwich as a plate of corned beef piled so high it could've had its own street address. I'm sad to report that I could only finish about two-thirds of it before I waved the white napkin of surrender.

Ha! That's exactly the way it went with us, although I had the (highly recommended, as I recall, and not a disappointment) challah French toast. I'm glad this is jogging your memory; keep sharing. If it weren't for the 1400 digital pictures I'm now sorting through, I don't know how much I'd be able to recall of the trip. It was complete sensory overload.
